Cut Your Risk for Alzheimer’s Disease

Friday, October 10th, 2008

There is a possible connection between Alzheimer’s and aluminum.  Aluminum is highly toxic and we are being exposed to hugh amounts of it.  Repeated exposure to chemicals and toxins have a cumulative effect on the body.

What to do?  1.  Minimize your consumption of acidic products packaged in aluminum containers.

2.  Don’t use aluminum cooking utensils.

3. Read food labels closely.  You’ll discover several products you should avoid or at least minimize.  Most baking powders contain aluminum, you can get aluminum feed from your health food store.

4.  Avoid aluminum-containing antacids, diarrhea medicines and douches.

 5. Switch from antiperspirants or spray deodorants to not-aluminum-containing roll-ons or stick deodorants, or alternative products you can find in health food stores.

 6.  Make sure you’re getting enough calcium either in the diet or through supplementation.  Calcium hampers aluminum’s absorption by the body.

7.  Drink filtered water. There are many pollutants, fluoride, chlorine and cryptosporidium in the public water supplies.

Be informed about vaccines.  They contain large amounts of aluminum.  Studies show that if you get 5 flu shots, you have a 10 times greater risk of getting Alzheimer’s Disease.  Read my blog, Dangers of the Flu Vaccine.

Reasons to Avoid MSG

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

MSG (monosodium glutamate), is used as a flavor enhancer in countless processed foods.  But while it works enhancing your food’s flavor it is also at work doing potential damage to your brain and body.

MSG is an excitotoxin, a type of chemical transmitter that allows brain cells to communicate.  The problem is that excitotoxins can literally excite your brain cells to death.  Aside from harming your brain, MSG has also been linked to eye damage, headaches, fatigue, disorientation and depression.

Children are most at risk from MSG.  The blood barrier, which keeps toxins in the blood from entering the brain, is not fully developed in children.  MSG can also penetrate the placental barrier and affect unborn children as well.  Nonetheless, most major brands of infant formula contain some processed free glutamic acid (a form of MSG).  Most fast foods contain large amounts of MSG.

Processed free glutamic acid (MSG) is hidden in food, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, cosmetics, fertilizers, desiccants, disinfectants, growth regulators, pesticides, and fungicide products.

Why is it hidden in food and other products?  MSG is a very big money maker for those who produce it, sell it and use it in their products.  MSG is harmful and has many adverse reactions.  If MSG isn’t harmful, why is it hidden?

Ways To Prevent Hemorrhoids

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

It is estimated that up to 75% of the American population will have a problem with hemorrhoids at some point during their life. The severity of hemorrhoids varies.  Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in or around the rectum.

Ways to Prevent Hemorrhoids:

Eat High-Fiber Diet - Constipation and straining to have a bowel movement may cause hemorrhoids. High-fiber foods include fruits, vegetables, bran and whole grains.

Drink Eight Glasses of Water - Fluids help keep the bowels soft and easy to pass.

Exercise Regularly - Thirty minute workouts 3 times a week is adequate for maintaining a physical fit body, which contributes to regular bowel movements.

Avoid Lifting Extremely Heavy Objects - If lifting a heavy object is unavoidable, a proper stance is critical.

Take Vitamin C  - Incorporate Vitamin C into your diet. Drink a glass of orange juice, eats oranges or take a supplement.  This helps maintain strong veins, which prevents swollen blood vessels in the anus & rectum.

Move Around - avoid sitting or standing in one position for too long.

Don’t Read on the Toilet - (see above)

Lose Weight - obesity is a common culprit of hemorrhoids.  Maintaining a healthy body weight is highly effective with preventing hemorrhoids.

Don’t Drink Too Much Alcohol - alcoholism can cause hemorrhoids.

God Made a Perfect World

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

God made a perfect world.  He gave us pure, natural food to eat to keep us healthy, clean water to drink and clean air to breathe.

Man has come along and altered our food, adding chemicals that cause illness and taking out enzymes that sustain life.  Man has added chlorine and fluoride in our water, furthering our demise into sickness.  Our air is polluted from factories, cars, airplanes spewing chemicals (chemtrails), pesticides and EMF’s.  Our body care products and cleaning supplies are filled with cancer causing chemicals.  When we get sick, we are given medicine with side effects and then more medicine which only makes us sicker.

Our only defense to keep from getting sick and to reverse the damage already done, is to go back to God’s way of living.  We need to eat whole, natural foods that our bodies can effectively use to sustain life and maintain health.  We can use water filters to protect us from chemicals.  We can put air filters in our homes, offices and schools.  We need to use natural products on our bodies and in our homes.

My goal is to keep you informed of simple things you can do to stay healthy
